Salary: Salary commensurate with experience on our extracurricular pay scale

• Assist with conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing players in rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
• Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities/exercises as directed by the head coach.
• Assist with coordinating all levels of the program and summer/off‑season programs.
• Implement expectations and direction of the program.
• Prepare the team for competition.
• Communicate with parents, players, school staff, media, etc.
• Follow school and CHSAA regulations and policies.
• Represent the school and district at all times during interscholastic practices, meetings, and activities.
• Work within the framework of the school system’s goals, Board of Education policies, and department of athletics procedures.
• Follow all rules, protocols, and procedures as outlined in handbooks, district policies, and regulations.
• Follow FERPA guidelines regarding student information and confidentiality.
• Coaches will represent and handle all issues professionally, confidentially, and transparently.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous volleyball coaching experience and/or knowledge of the fundamental and advanced skills of volleyball.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• Willing to be part of a team environment.

• Knowledge of Moffat County School District athletic/activity programming.
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience working with middle‑school students.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; occasionally required to run; stoop and kneel; lift and/or move up to 50lbs; push items of 75lbs or more. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

Coaching time is mostly outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions. Noise level is usually moderate to loud. Work is acceptable and safe in this environment.
