About the Position
Mammography Technologist     Full-Time Permanent Position

Location:

Diagnostic Imaging     Mammography Department

Schedule:

Full-Time, Permanent (includes flexibility for call, overtime, holidays as needed)
Salary  - USD $64,000 to $110,000
Join our dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team as a Mammography Technologist, where you'll deliver high-quality patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to workflow improvements in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate mammography equipment and perform exams following department protocols and Radiologist guidance.

Accurately maintain patient records in EHR systems, including documentation, charges, and prior studies.

Educate patients on procedures, verify orders, obtain consent, and review medical histories.

Conduct daily QA, preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate repairs.

Ensure compliance with FDA guidelines, ALARA radiation safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

Assist, train, or cross-train imaging staff; support departmental initiatives and workflow enhancements.

Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities, adjusting schedules, and participating in rotating shifts.

Uphold organizational values through professional appearance, infection control, safety, and risk management.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives across the department and organization.

Perform additional duties as assigned within scope.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M).

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; must pass background check and pre-employment screenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years as a Radiologic Technologist, including experience in CT and/or MRI.

Cross-training in additional modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, DEXA).

Proficiency with PACS, RIS/HIS electronic records systems.

Core Competencies:

Independent troubleshooting and operation of imaging equipment.
