Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Guaranteed hours: 0.0
- Plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care plans based on assessment, serving as Day Surgery RN, Intra-Operative RN (Circulating and/or Scrub), and PACU RN as needed.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition; provide thorough handoffs to receiving nursing teams.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support needs; identify barriers to effective communication.
- Assess learning needs of patient and family; provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances; effectively delegate to ancillary personnel.
- Maintain adherence to perioperative standards and policies; ensure Perioperative Verification is complete before entering the surgical suite.
- Respond to emergencies using ACLS/PALS-aligned protocols; protect patient confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Colorado or a compact state.
- BLS required within six months of hire; ACLS required within six months of hire.
- PALS or ENPC required within one year of hire; TNCC preferred but required for call positions.
- Minimum of two years hospital nursing experience; previous OR experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred; valid RN licensure in Colorado or compact state.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative environment; ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen; meet health requirements.
- Dedicated travel staffing support and onboarding assistance
- Credentialing and compliance assistance to facilitate onboarding
- Ongoing assignment support and access to a staffing team throughout the contract
- Performance and clinical support to help ensure a smooth assignment
