We’re expanding our Water Treatment Department and are looking for an experienced and proactive Water Treatment Technician to deliver industry‑leading solutions and service across a range of client sites.

Installation

of Water Treatment Equipment
  • Full installation and commissioning of water treatment systems at client sites
  • Connecting to plumbing and electrical infrastructure
  • Testing systems to ensure functionality and compliance
  • Training client staff on system use and maintenance
  • Completing all installation documentation and reports
  • Coordinating with clients and internal teams for smooth delivery
Routine Service & Maintenance
  • Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on treatment systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults or inefficiencies
  • Maintaining detailed records of service visits, adjustments, and part replacements
  • Supporting clients with first‑time fixes and equipment care
Site Surveys & Technical Analysis
  • Conducting technical site visits and assessments
  • Taking water samples and performing on‑site analysis
  • Identifying system issues and proposing tailored treatment solutions
  • Preparing technical reports and supporting commercial proposals
  • Staying current with new treatment technologies and best practices
What You’ll Need
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in water treatment, including work with steam boilers, cooling towers, process water, pre‑treatment systems, and softeners
  • Recognised plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent skills/experience)
  • Legionella control certification (e.g., City & Guilds, IOSH, Water Management Society)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
