JRWe're currently recruiting for a Head of Installation here at Chubb, across the south of England.

The Head of Installation is responsible for leading and managing the installation function within the Fire and Security division. This role ensures that all installation projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and regulatory standards.

** Key Responsibilities
**** Leadership and Team Management
*** Lead, develop, and manage installation managers, supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.
* Set clear performance objectives and ensure teams operate efficiently and safely.
* Support recruitment, training, and development of installation personnel.
* Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
** Operational Delivery
*** Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all Fire and Security installation projects.
* Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications.
* Monitor project progress, addressing risks, delays, net recovery margin or technical issues proactively.
** Technical Compliance and Standards
*** Ensure installations comply with relevant regulations and standards including BS5839, BS5266, BS7671, EN standards, and other applicable fire and security regulations.
* Maintain compliance with industry accreditation bodies such as NSI, SSAIB, BAFE, and other governing organisations where applicable.
* Promote best practice in system design interpretation, installation quality, and commissioning readiness.
** Health, Safety and Quality
*** Ensure full compliance with company health and safety policies and statutory requirements.
* Promote safe working practices across all installation activities.
* Monitor quality assurance processes to ensure installations meet company and regulatory standards.
** Key Skills and Experience
*** Significant experience in Fire and Security installation management.
* Strong knowledge of fire alarm, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.
* In-depth understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance.
* Proven leadership experience managing multi-site installation teams.
* Strong project management and operational planning capability.
* Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and project costs.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience in managing WIP, NRN and BCIP to drive efficiency.
** Qualifications
* ** Relevant technical qualification in electrical, fire, or security engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Industry certifications such as FIA units, ECS/CSCS, or similar desirable.
* Management qualification (e.g., ILM, NVQ Level 5, or equivalent) desirable.
