Childcare Supervisor

About the Role  Our client seeks a qualified and motivated Childcare Supervisor to oversee daily operations at their center in Kimberley. This hybrid role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive environment for children, parents, and employees. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of care, developing staff, and implementing effective childcare programs, with responsibilities encompassing both on-site leadership and off-site administrative tasks.

This is a key position for an individual passionate about early childhood education and skilled in leadership and operational management within a childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities   Supervise and mentor childcare staff, providing leadership and support.
Ensure the implementation of high-quality educational programs and activities.
Oversee daily operations, maintaining a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment.
Conduct regular staff training, performance reviews, and development planning.
Manage parent communications and address concerns effectively.
Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and compliance, supporting hybrid work flexibility.
Requirements   Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or Management.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in childcare, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of child development principles and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in staff management, curriculum development, and parent engagement.
Ability to manage tasks both on-site and remotely as required by the hybrid model.
