Catering Event Manager

About the Role  Our client is looking for a seasoned and organized Catering Event Manager to oversee all aspects of event execution in Kimberley. You will be responsible for ensuring that every catering event runs seamlessly, from initial planning stages through to the final wrap-up. This includes coordinating with clients, managing on-site staff, overseeing food and beverage service, and upholding the highest standards of quality and presentation.

You will be a key figure in delivering memorable experiences for our client's diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities   Manage all logistical aspects of catering events, ensuring timely setup, service, and breakdown.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, addressing needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event.
Supervise and direct catering staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and event protocols.
Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring quality, presentation, and timely delivery.
Collaborate with the culinary team to confirm menu execution and manage any last-minute adjustments.
Conduct post-event debriefs and client feedback sessions to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Requirements   Extensive experience in event management, particularly within the catering or hospitality sector.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
