Front Desk Supervisor – Lizard Creek Lodge

Location: Fernie

Lizard Creek Lodge and Condominiums is seeking a career oriented individual to join our Hotel team.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the smooth daily operation, while maintaining high levels of guest service

Maintaining communication within the department, the hotel, and the company

Balance the daily cash float

Maintaining a safe and hazard free working environment

Working shifts as business levels dictate

Performing all other duties as assigned

Manage the weekly schedule according to labour budget

Oversee training and performance of 4-8 associates

Duty Manager shifts and responsibilities as assigned

Practice room yield management, to ensure maximum profitability of overall operations

Monitoring inventory, room types, and categories

Ensure that the operational budget is adhered to and all costs are controlled

Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having a working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures

Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills

Possess a keen eye for detail

Exceptional organizational skills

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Excellent leader and coach, who has a passion to bring out the best in their teammates and themselves

Good problem solving abilities

Minimum 1-2 years working within a customer service environment

Previous supervisory/management experience is an asset

Wage will be commensurate with experience.
