Catering Team Leader

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Catering Staff Team Leader to guide and supervise their event service teams in Kimberley . This part-time role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of catering services at various events, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, overseeing service delivery, and upholding our client's standards of quality and professionalism, playing a crucial role in the success of events across the Northern Cape.

• Lead and motivate a team of catering staff during event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure adherence to service standards, menu execution, and client specifications during events.
• Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance to team members to ensure operational efficiency.
• Act as a point of contact for on-site client representatives, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain food and beverage quality, presentation, and safety standards.
• Assist in training new staff members and enforcing company policies and procedures.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the catering or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Good understanding of event service protocols, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve minor issues promptly and effectively.
