Position: Facility Technician for Recreation Services
Join the Recreation and Culture department as a Facility Technician. This as-needed position at $37.76/hour requires broad technical expertise and strong customer relations.

The ideal candidate holds a Grade 12 Diploma or GED and has at least three years’ experience in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing trades.

Your role will include maintaining essential facility systems, ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations, and delivering top-notch service to users of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance for facility infrastructure

• Manage HVAC systems and ensure compliance

• Maintain records regarding service activities

• Deliver excellent customer service to facility users

• Support operations within local and federal regulations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or GED

• Three years of diverse trades experience

• Pool Operator Certification Level 1 and 2

• Current First Aid certification

• RSA or IFO qualifications preferred
