Become a crucial part of the team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital as a Power Engineer 4 | Maintenance Worker V. Oversee the upkeep of critical systems and contribute to high-quality healthcare.
In this role, you will manage and maintain our power plant and low-pressure steam facility from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday. Your responsibilities will include operating, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on essential equipment. Additionally, you'll supervise staff and apply your trades skills across various areas like electrical and plumbing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain operational power and steam systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Contribute expertise in electrical and plumbing trades
• Supervise designated Maintenance Workers
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes and regulations
Requirements:
• Experience as a Power Engineer or in maintenance roles
• Skilled in trades such as plumbing and electrical work
• Competent in troubleshooting systems
• Willingness to travel for site responsibilities
• Dedicated to ongoing professional development
