Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician to join their team in Kimberley . This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications networks, including fibre optics, copper cabling, and associated equipment. You will play a key part in ensuring reliable connectivity for businesses and residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on technician who enjoys working outdoors and in various environments, contributing to the essential infrastructure of the region within the Installation & Maintenance sector.

• Install, splice, and test fibre optic cables and related infrastructure.
• Perform maintenance and repair on copper and fibre telecommunications networks.
• Install and configure telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and base stations.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
• Adhere to strict safety procedures when working at heights or in confined spaces in the Kimberley area.

• Experience as a Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician , Fibre Optic Technician, or similar.
• Proficiency in fibre optic splicing and testing equipment.
• Understanding of telecommunications network principles and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical documentation.
• A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel extensively within the Kimberley region.
