Tax Senior

We’re working with a well-established CPA firm in Cranford, NJ to find a motivated Tax Senior to join their growing tax department.

The firm is seeking someone with a strong foundation in public accounting who thrives in a client-focused, high-quality environment.

As a Tax Senior
, you’ll prepare and review complex tax returns, assist with tax planning and research, and support client relationships across a variety of industries. You’ll work closely with managers, partners, and junior staff, gaining hands‑on experience and mentorship from a team of Big 4-trained professionals.

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
  .
• Assist with tax planning, research, and consulting projects
  .
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants during engagements.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide proactive tax support.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus).
• CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
• 3–5 years of public accounting tax experience

• Experience in both Big 4 or mid-size CPA firms strongly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws
  .
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cranford, NJ (5 days per week).
