Position Overview
Our team is looking for an experienced construction superintendent to supervise craft employees and ensure projects are safely completed on time. As a Superintendent, you will play a key role in the success of Weeks Marine projects across the NE region of the US. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various people, such as craft workers, job teams, and engineers.

- Supervise crews and craft workers in the application of all projects.
- Manage productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Collaborate with engineers and job teams to determine project needs.
- Utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs.
- Set performance goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate and interface with superintendents and foremen to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
- Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties and inform management as appropriate.
- Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor needs, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
- Keep track of material stock and orders.
- Ensure project rules, procedures, and programs are followed, including safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non‑harassment and nondiscrimination policies.
- Perform additional ad hoc assignments per management’s direction.
- 5–10+ years’ experience in the construction industry with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Professional knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure; marine infrastructure experience preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have project experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges or other waterfront structures.
- Ability to run multiple crews across various construction scopes.
- Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings, and other documents.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
- General computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel).
- Organizational and time‑management skills.
- Experience with cranes is preferred.
- Ability to manage and inspire others.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Work productively and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others.
- Perform work safely and effectively; understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines; overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation: $138,000/yr – $144,000/yr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
