- Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, executors, and family offices.
- Lead complex Trust & Estate tax compliance and consulting engagements.
- Provide advanced planning strategies involving:
- Estate Tax Planning
- Gift Tax Planning
- Wealth Transfer Strategies
- GRATs
- IDGTs
- SLATs
- Charitable Planning
- Business Succession Planning
- Advise clients on fiduciary income tax matters and compliance requirements.
- Review complex tax returns including:
- Form 1041
- Form 706
- Form 709
- Related fiduciary and estate tax filings
- Interpret and apply federal, state, and local trust and estate tax laws.
- Identify planning opportunities and proactively advise clients on tax-saving strategies.
- Lead and expand the Trust & Estate practice through business development initiatives.
- Participate in proposal development, networking, client presentations, and relationship building.
- Collaborate with partners and other service lines to drive cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting trusts and estates.
- Mentor, coach, and develop managers and staff.
- Oversee engagement planning, staffing, budgets, and project delivery.
- Promote best practices and technical excellence across the practice.
- Collaborate with attorneys, wealth advisors, family offices, and internal tax professionals to deliver integrated client solutions.
