Job Description
Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System, a CARF accredited division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, is a leading provider of mental health and addiction services in Northern New Jersey.
We are currently seeking a Per Diem Substance Abuse Counselor for our Mount Carmel Guild Substance Use program in Cranford, NJ
.
- Provide substance use counseling to clients in the substance use program level 1 and level 2.1; document progress notes on all groups in electronic health record; implement evidence‑based modalities to assist clients in their recovery; complete treatment plans and other documentation according to agency standards; admit clients using NJSAMS; collect weekly UDS. All work is under the supervision of an LCADC.
- Valid LCADC or CADC license required
