At Birchwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Specialist (Fulltime) to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.

• Performing routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC repairs
• Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards and taking corrective action to eliminate them
• Conducting repairs and maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and appliances
• Assisting with snow removal and grounds maintenance
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless operations

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, fixtures, and appliances in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and protocols
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a collaborative approach to maintenance and repair tasks
• Participate in safety training and adhere to established safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the facility

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
