Cranford, New Jersey – Direct Hire – $99,840 /

Location: Cranford, NJ Area – 48/hour ability to make more with overtime

Growing ISO-certified precision manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, medical device, and other highly regulated industries is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Setup Specialist.

This is a hands‑on role responsible for CNC lathe setup, programming, troubleshooting, process improvement, and cycle‑time optimization in a high‑mix, tight‑tolerance manufacturing environment.

• Setup and program CNC lathes for prototype and production work
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
• Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies
• Support multi‑axis turning, live tooling, and mill‑turn operations
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams

• 7+ years of CNC lathe setup and programming experience
• Experience with aerospace, defense, medical device, or other precision‑machined components
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Ability to independently setup, program, troubleshoot, and optimize machining processes
• Experience with CAM software;
  Mastercam preferred
• Multi‑axis, live tooling, or mill‑turn experience is a plus
