Job Description

Commercial HVAC Sales Professional

Location:

Cranford, New Jersey [office and customer locations]

Compensation: $65,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonuses

The Role

This is a consultative, relationship‑focused sales role targeting commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. You will identify opportunities, develop tailored HVAC solutions, and guide decision makers through replacement, retrofit, service, and maintenance investments. Your credibility, communication skills, and presence will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, develop, and manage commercial HVAC sales opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with property owners, facility managers, contractors, and decision makers
  • Conduct site visits, assess system needs, and develop customized HVAC solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals, ROI analyses, and system recommendations
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams
  • Manage long sales cycles while maintaining consistent pipeline activity
  • Negotiate contracts and close profitable, long‑term agreements
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Track activity and maintain accurate records in CRM systems

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
