An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy and fast-growing motor vehicle repair and MOT centre group. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with experience across a wide range of vehicles. An MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
You will be working in a modern workshop environment, carrying out high-quality diagnostic, service, and repair work to industry standards while contributing to a positive and professional team culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out servicing, diagnostic, and repair work as directed
Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and general faults
Complete all work to DVSA standards
Conduct MOT inspections where qualified (desirable)
Work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
Deliver excellent customer service and uphold best-practice workshop standards
Minimum 5 years' experience as a vehicle technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
Confident using diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and electronic testing tools
Good knowledge of electrical and electronic vehicle systems
Experience working across a variety of vehicle makes and models
IT literate
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Qualifications
Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 minimum; Level 4 desirable but not essential)
Monday to Friday working only
20 days annual leave + bank holidays
