As a full-time Senior Accountant in the Financial Close team, the candidate will manage the month-end and quarterly financial closing processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities- Perform routine and complex monthly close responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and international statutory reporting requirements while liaising with external auditors
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable processes to support company growth
- Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in public accounting (audit) and private/in-house accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA license with strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience in start-ups and/or financial services
- Proficiency with Net Suite ERP or other cloud-based accounting software
- Experience overseeing and managing accounting staff
