About Cocolab
Founded by two sisters — a dentist and an artist — COCOLAB is reimagining oral care. We are the fun oral innovators. The floss-wielding, bacteria-busting, microbiome-cultivating, oral wellness makers of tomorrow. No plaque stands in our way, and never again will our creations be displayed in dull, uninspiring designs of yesteryear. We are iconic. Because your smile is iconic. We are COCOLAB.
We’re a fully remote team spread across the U.S., united by a shared commitment to joy, care, conscious innovation, and performance with purpose. We move fast, stay deeply connected, and approach our work with curiosity and intention—taking pride not just in what we build, but in how we build it together.
Senior Accountant (AP, Inventory & Cost Accounting)
Location: Remote (United States)

Reports to: Controller
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
The RoleWe're looking for a Senior Accountant (AP, Inventory & Cost Accounting) with a strong CPG foundation to join our growing Finance team and sit at the intersection of financial accounting and physical inventory management. This role owns two critical areas: the day-to-day AP and general ledger accounting that keeps COCOLAB's books clean and audit-ready, and the cross-functional inventory cost accounting work that connects our warehouse operations to accurate financial reporting in Net Suite.
You understand the unique financial complexities of CPG — landed costs, multi-location inventory, trade spend, and the constant pressure to keep physical and financial inventory in sync across a fast-moving product catalog. You'll work closely with our Controller and cross-functional partners across Operations, Commercial, and People teams to ensure timely vendor payments, precise inventory cost accounting by SKU, and reconciled, operationally accurate financial records.
This is a hands-on ownership role with meaningful scope, ideal for someone who thrives on detail, process improvement, and bridging the gap between finance and operations in a fast-growing, mission-driven CPG company.

- Ensure quantitative accuracy for all inventory related costs.
- Validate and support reconciliations across all warehouse locations are timely, well-documented, and operationally trusted.
- Clean, well-organized financial records that support smooth month-end and year-end closes.
- Strong reconciliations and documentation that stand up to audit review.
- Finance and Operations speak the same inventory language — discrepancies are caught early and resolved collaboratively.
- Own the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor payments.
- Monitor and manage the accounting inbox, responding to vendor and internal requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve payment issues.
- Process and review employee expense reports using Airbase, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Support annual 1099 preparation and reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset tracking.
- Cash applications for customer deposits.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly financial statement review, including P&L, balance sheet, and general ledger detail.
- Own the ongoing cross-functional alignment of operational and financial inventory management practices in Net Suite.
- Own 3-way PO matching processes.
- Review Net Suite financial inventory adjustments for operational accuracy.
- Escalate technical issues related to the landed cost module appropriately and accuracy.
- Once validated for financial and operational accuracy, support configuration of Net Suite inventory stock reporting to flow into Shopify for out-of-stock mitigation.
