This position is 100% onsite in Cranston, RI. Candidates should have recent manufacturing accounting experience to be considered.

Are you an experienced accounting leader with a strong manufacturing background? We're seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, lead a high-performing team, and drive financial accuracy for a growing manufacturing organization.

This is a fully onsite leadership opportunity where you'll partner closely with operations, improve financial processes, and play a key role in supporting business performance.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
• Manage General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and general ledger activity
• Oversee inventory accounting, fixed assets, and manufacturing accounting
• Monitor cash flow, collections, vendor payments, and working capital
• Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies
• Drive ERP system enhancements and process improvements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special finance initiatives
• Administer the Concur expense management platform
• Record and reconcile payroll journal entries
• Manage census reporting requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience
• Manufacturing accounting experience is required
• Experience with ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
