The Account Receivable Representative performs accounts receivable duties to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments, daily reconciliation of cash, and accurate reporting of receivables in accordance with Concentra policies, practices and procedures.

Full‑time - Schedule:
1st shift / standard business hours (Monday‑Friday) - Work Environment: 100% onsite (in‑office)
- Location:
Sharpe Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island
- Resolve escalated problems via communications with various customers including employers, insurance companies, TPAs and labs.
- Process rebills and compose correspondence to customers.
- Monitor and review account aging reports to ensure timely collection.
- Review documents and reconcile discrepancies and make needed adjustments.
- Perform account payment reconciliations with incoming receipts.
- Prepare and distribute periodic reports on A/R and past‑due accounts for management and clients.
- Negotiate with clients' repayment terms on past‑due accounts.
- Make decisions on referring accounts for collection or writing off.
- Train new employees and assist peers.

- Determine when adjustments are appropriate and necessary and apply them.
- Resolve employer issues when necessary, such as misapplied or missing payments.
- Interact with clinics when necessary to resolve invoice charges or issues and secure supporting documentation.
- Monitor rebills for open balances and take appropriate action.
- Schedule and distribute work to meet deadlines and facilitate efficient workflows.

QualificationsJob‑Related
Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Customarily has at least three or more years of demonstrated collection experience (occupational health preferred).

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the range of $21.00 - $23.00 hourly, depending on job‑related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
