Construction Project Manager

OPD Development Corporation is a locally based construction company with a dedicated team of 25 employees. We specialize in residential new construction and select commercial remodeling projects. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Project Manager located in Cranston, RI. The Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of residential and select commercial construction projects. We prefer experience in muncipal and state projects, especially the bidding process. Responsibilities include estimating, coordinating project activities, managing schedules, controlling budgets, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining effective communication with clients, vendors, and team members.

The individual will also address challenges that arise during construction and ensure the timely delivery of projects.

• Experience in Construction Project Management and Construction Management to oversee complex building projects.
• Proven skills in Project Coordination and Project Management to ensure effective scheduling, team alignment, and task execution.
• Strong proficiency in Budgeting to manage costs and optimize project resources effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with stakeholders, motivate teams, and ensure project success.
• Proficiency in construction project management software is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are a bonus.
