This is a hybrid position reporting to any RI or MA Hilb office.
** Responsibilities:
*** Assist clients with daily service functions and ad hoc requests, escalating issues as needed; including resolving enrollment and claims issues with carriers.
* Takes initiative with researching and resolving customer issues and concerns and proactively provide solutions to deliver timely and effective resolutions to customers
* Create and maintain client tracker with renewal dates to proactively support Open Enrollment processes.
* Request census data from client and/or carriers to support marketing efforts
* Request Benefit Guides from communications team; review for accuracy
* Request benefit plan summaries and SBC's from carriers

Facilitate new COBRA account set up and manage COBRA renewals.
* Coordinate MAPFML private plan exemption filings with clients.
* Coordinate completion of and/or complete paperwork related to new plan set up

* Qualifications:

*** Education - High school diploma required; some college level coursework preferred
* Certification - Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Exceptional relationship development skills, interpersonal and time management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
* Working knowledge and understanding of group benefits/administration
