Full-Time Special Education Teacher in Issaquah, WA

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in Issaquah. Join our team and make a significant impact in a school-based setting, working with students who have diverse learning needs. Candidates must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations, including a Bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s or doctorate in special education, and an active special education teaching license.

Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred.

Job Duties:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring that their unique learning needs are met.

Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving academic goals.

Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor students progress and make data-informed instructional decisions.

Foster positive relationships with students, addressing behavioral and social-emotional needs as part of a comprehensive approach to education.
