Your expertise in special education, combined with a masters degree and proper certification, will help foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through mid-June, allowing you to see the progress of your students over a meaningful timeframe.

• Masters degree in Special Education (required)
• Valid Severe and Profound Certification (required)
• Prior schools-based experience in a related role
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

• Deliver personalized instruction and interventions tailored for K-12 students with severe and profound needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring appropriate goals and accommodations
• Document progress towards goals and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Promote student independence and social/emotional growth

Youll enjoy highly competitive compensation, with weekly pay rates ranging from $45 to $50 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
