Job DescriptionImmaculate Conception Catholic Regional School (ICCRS) is seeking a caring, collaborative, and enthusiastic long‑term substitute teacher to lead our Grade 4 classroom during the first eight weeks of the 2026–2027 school year. ICCRS is a vibrant Catholic school community committed to academic excellence, faith formation, and educating the whole child. We are looking for an educator who can create a positive classroom environment, build strong relationships with students and families, and continue high‑quality instruction while the classroom teacher is on leave.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging daily instruction aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and faith‑filled classroom environment.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain regular communication with families and school administration.
- Collaborate with grade‑level colleagues and student support staff.
- Uphold the mission and values of Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Rhode Island teaching certification preferred (or eligibility for certification).
- Elementary classroom teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a professional learning community.
