The
Laser Field Repair Technician
supports jewelers worldwide by providing high-quality service, repairs, and maintenance for laser equipment in both remote and on-site environments. This role combines technical and mechanical expertise with strong customer service skills to diagnose issues, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure optimal performance. Working in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting, the technician collaborates closely with internal teams while traveling to customer locations as needed, with reduced and flexible travel options available to support business and individual needs.

• Troubleshoot, test, and repair laser equipment both remotely and in person
• Document customer interactions and process invoices using company systems
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and virtual platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams and specialists to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Drive a company vehicle for customer site visits and equipment deliveries
• Lift, crate, and uncrate laser equipment and shipments as needed
• Provide on-site customer support as needed, including limited or occasional travel based on service needs and technician availability (overnight travel may be required in some cases)
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach during all service interactions

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (subject to drug screen and background check)
• Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Technical and mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn circuitry and mechanical systems
• Positive, coachable attitude and strong work ethic

• Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical work, microelectronics, diagnostics, or technician roles
• Knowledge of the jewelry industry and/or laser equipment
