Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)  - Cranston, RI

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Cranston, RI, offering a rewarding contract position focused on supporting students communication and speech development. This role plays a vital part in enhancing educational outcomes by delivering individualized therapy and collaborating with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students educational goals.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students, adapting techniques to diverse needs.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
Desired Qualifications And Skills
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid licensure as an SLP in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Experience working in school settings delivering speech-language services.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
