Full-time

The Details

Our centers are open Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am – 5pm. We primarily work with children between the ages of 2-9 in a center-based environment.

The Clinician in Training is an entry level Behavior Analyst role that is designed to give the candidate a hands‑on training experience by pairing them with an experienced BCBA who will serve as their mentor as they go through the CiT Training sequence. The CiT has a primary responsibility to accelerate client success through responsibilities delegated by their assigned BCBA mentor.

By sharing a caseload and pod, the mentor BCBA will serve as a model as the CiT learns all of the responsibilities and tasks that they would need to complete as a Behavior Analyst.

Training Timeline
  • Phase 1: shadowing and completing assigned non-billable tasks. Mentor BA models team training and once CiT tests with appropriate fidelity they can also take over team training outside of consult overlap time.
  • Phase 2:
Mentor BA models and tests probing programming targets, conducting assessments, and making programming changes. Mentor BA starts to delegate non-billable consult time dedicated to both team training and programming updates.
  • Phase 3:
Mentor BA overlaps as CiT starts to run the consults independently.

Our Story: A Legacy of Progress, Fueled by Play

In 2006, Bierman Autism Centers began with a simple dream: to empower children with autism to thrive. We believed in the power of letting kids be kids and initially offered in-home care to foster a comforting and familiar environment.

We were driven by three core beliefs: achieving remarkable progress with children, creating a great team that enjoys working together, and building a workplace that fosters internal career paths and growth for our team members.

Our dedication to progress led us to a pivotal moment. Recognizing the potential of center-based care, we opened our first center in Indiana in 2010. This wasn’t just about location; it shifted our philosophy. Centers allowed us to create consistent, nurturing environments tailored to each child’s needs.
