Estella Health is providing mobile and other healthcare services to residents and organizations throughout Rhode Island. We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Paramedics to support the mobile integrated healthcare program.

Under the direction of the Estella Health Leadership and supervisory staff, paramedics (EMTPs) will provide safe and effective medical care at the preventative and acute care level. As a paramedic (EMTP), you will be a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing medical care to patients in a community paramedicine program or admitted in a hospital at home setting.

Your primary role will be to provide typical medical care to patients. This position requires a compassionate and skilled paramedic with the ability to work effectively in a home setting.

The paramedic will be responsible for visits to patients in their homes throughout Rhode Island.

Safely driving a company issued vehicle.

• Providing various medical services such as lab draws, medication reconciliation, basic vital signs, patient assessments, medication administration, obtaining 12 Lead ECG’s, sample collections, COVID/Flu/RSV swabs
• IV medication administration or hydration
• Documentation for each patient encounter.

The Paramedic must be willing to work independently in the community while maintaining open communication with the care team and providers.

• The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, clinical assessment experience, and be
• Current motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Must live in the state of RI (Warwick and surrounding towns preferred but not required).
• Current active EMT-Paramedic license in good standing in Rhode Island.
• Two years of skilled paramedic experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions using the English language.
• Satisfactory CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information)

• The demands of the position require typical physical strength and dexterity along with the ability to function in adverse environments with potential exposure to the numerous health and safety risks inherent in the healthcare environment. It is expected that the performance of any or all of the physical activities described below would not hinder the paramedic’s ability to perform patient care.
• Ability to carry equipment (first in bag of supplies, zoll cardiac monitor) as needed
• Ability to walk up and down stairs without difficulty.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, push, pull, and grasp in a variety of circumstances in order to provide patient care.
