Senior HR Shared Services & Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities- Process end-to-end multi-state US payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, garnishments, tax updates, deductions, retroactive adjustments, and special payments.
- Serve as the ADP Workforce Now subject matter expert for configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
- Review payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, ACA, federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, year-end W-2 processing, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Research and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
- Generate payroll reporting, workforce analytics, and recommendations for leadership.
- Advise on payroll process improvements, system enhancements, HRIS integrations, payroll implementations, and system conversions.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across HRIS and payroll platforms.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Benefits, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and IT to deliver integrated employee solutions.
- 8+ years of payroll administration experience with significant US multi-state payroll expertise.
- 5+ years of hands-on ADP Workforce Now administration experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws, payroll taxes, 401(k), workers' compensation, FLSA, and ACA.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting payroll implementations, HRIS integrations, or payroll system conversions preferred.
- Experience in a shared services, advisory, consulting, or professional services environment preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
