This rapidly growing publicly listed global business in the field of advanced engineered materials provides a range of products to a broad industry base. The US business comprises both manufacturing/operations and sales with a current head count of around 100. Its projected growth has seen it embark on an exciting phase of change which necessitates the need for an HR Business Partner.
The RoleTaking responsibility for partnering with key business stakeholders, your goal is to ensure the delivery of HR services around the full employee life cycle, providing advice that is objective and fair, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and operating standards, policies and procedures. Your hands-on, service approach will ensure you are seen as a valued partner in decision making. Your positive attitude and ability to influence and deliver change will be vital in fulfilling the HR strategic plan to support the business’ continued growth.
You will support both operational (manufacturing) and commercial functions and partner closely with leaders to drive organisational performance through effective people strategies and leadership capability.
- HR or equivalent bachelor’s degree and ideally PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, and SHRM-SCP
- Significant practical HR generalist/advisory level experience in employee relations, talent management, organisational development, workforce planning and change management
- A background in an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment
- Expert knowledge of federal, state and local employment legislation and employment practices
- Experience implementing the full employee life-cycle processes and procedures
- Proficient with HR Management systems
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and be a strong business partner and advisor to all levels from engineering to senior management
- Strong employee relations and investigation capability.
- Excellent influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven decision making and workforce analytics capability.
- Experience operating effectively amid ambiguity and within a complex, decentralised matrix structure
- Ability to travel to other US states
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
Remuneration will be negotiated in line with your experience, but expected to be $100,000pa (or slightly higher).
