We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate a large-scale, multi-vendor technology implementation project for a government agency. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery across multiple work streams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate deliverables across multiple project managers and vendors.
• Oversee and manage several concurrent work streams with diverse stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain an integrated, master project schedule.
• Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and track progress on tasks assigned to both vendors and internal teams.
• Manage comprehensive system documentation, including functionality and support procedures.
• Ensure vendors develop and maintain detailed documentation, including:
• Role-based access permissions
• Business stakeholder reporting requirements
• Review vendor deliverables for quality assurance prior to approval.
• Maintain key project tools including RAID logs and RACI matrices.
• Prepare and deliver weekly status reports and project updates.
• Manage change control processes and scope changes effectively.
• Communicate project delays and risks to stakeholders promptly.
• Provide updates on vendor performance and deliverables to leadership teams.
• Track and manage project budget and financials.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, consulting, or related fields.
• Proven track record managing large-scale implementation projects with multiple vendors.
• Experience with digital portals and user-facing technology projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized with strong time management.
• Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience with public sector or government projects is a plus.
• PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
