We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Services Engineer to support and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role is hands‑on and operational, focused on system administration, cloud monitoring, performance optimization, and automation in a mixed Windows and Linux environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting skills, a support‑first mindset, and experience working with cloud‑based enterprise systems, including Oracle databases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day operational support for cloud environments, primarily AWS, with exposure to OCI
- Administer and support systems in mixed Windows and Unix/Linux environments
- Perform Oracle Database administration, including user management, backups, patching, and performance support
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and services, identifying and resolving performance, availability, and capacity issues
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
- Troubleshoot incidents and service disruptions across compute, storage, networking, and database layers
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Support cloud security best practices, including access controls, patching, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve complex issues
- Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support rotations as required
- Strong hands‑on experience supporting AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Cloud Watch, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- System administration experience across Windows Server and Unix/Linux platforms
- Experience with Oracle Database Administration
- Proficiency in cloud monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Experience with automation and scripting (Power Shell, Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills
- Familiarity with ITIL‑based support processes and incident management
- AWS or Oracle Cloud certifications
- Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
- Experience supporting hybrid or multi‑cloud environments
