Our client is a fast-growing global cybersecurity vendor known for delivering cutting‑edge solutions that protect enterprise and cloud environments from evolving digital threats. As they expand their U.S. presence, they’re seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Engineer to join their high‑performing North American team.

This is a strategic hire for a technically driven professional who thrives in customer‑facing environments and enjoys bridging complex technology with business outcomes.

The Role

As the Senior Sales Engineer – U.S., you’ll be the technical lead supporting enterprise sales efforts across a diverse customer base. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives, Channel Partners, and key enterprise clients to uncover requirements, design robust solutions, and drive technical confidence throughout the sales process.

This role combines deep cybersecurity expertise with strong communication and influencing skills. You’ll be instrumental in accelerating deal velocity, shaping customer success, and contributing to overall go‑to‑market strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the lead technical resource throughout the sales cycle—from discovery and solution design through proof of concept and deployment guidance.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demos to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to translate customer requirements into tailored cybersecurity solutions.
  • Lead RFP responses, architecture reviews, and customer workshops.
  • Gather customer feedback to influence product development and roadmap direction.
  • Enable partners and sales teams with technical training and best practices.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer briefings.
Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting within the cybersecurity space.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security domains such as network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and threat detection/response.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience with modern security architectures and deployment models (cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem).
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients across multiple verticals (finance, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
The Offer
  • Base $154k - $175k
  • OTE $220k - $250k
