Job Description: Strategic Technology Partners LLC ( ) has an opportunity for an ISVA (IBM Security Verify Access) Engineer to design, implement, and support secure access management solutions across our enterprise environment. This role is critical in strengthening authentication, authorization, and identity federation capabilities while ensuring a seamless user experience.
Required
Skills and Experience:
- Design, implement, and maintain IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA) solutions
- Configure and manage WebSEAL, AAC (Advanced Access Control), and Federation modules
- Integrate ISVA with applications using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP
- Develop and maintain authentication policies, access control policies, and junctions
- Troubleshoot authentication, SSO, and access issues across multiple environments
- Collaborate with application teams to onboard new apps into ISVA
- Perform upgrades, patching, and system performance tuning
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Security Verify Access (ISAM/ISVA)
- Strong understanding of SSO, Federation, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
- Experience with WebSEAL configuration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (LDAP, MFA, certificates, etc.)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with reverse proxy and web security concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IBM Verify Governance or other IAM tools
- Knowledge of REST APIs and scripting (Python, Shell, etc.)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Relevant certifications in IAM or IBM Security products
Education Requirement
: A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field preferred
Security Requirement: Must be able to obtain a Federal Clearance. No exceptions can be made
Location: The position is remote with occasional visits to the federal office for administrative matters.
