Position: State Licensed Employment Counsel
A company is looking for an Employment Counsel for a 3-month contract to support redundancy exercises and performance management issues.

Key Responsibilities Manage and execute redundancy exercises while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations Provide strategic advice on performance management issues to HR and management teams Develop and maintain legal playbooks and manage litigation and billing trackers

Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar 4+ years of experience in employment law, particularly in redundancy and performance management Proven ability to manage redundancy exercises in a compliant manner Experience in developing legal playbooks and managing legal tracking systems is preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote setting
