About the Role
As a Branch Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a high‑performing team and a welcoming branch environment. You'll lead daily operations, coach and develop staff, and ensure every member receives outstanding service that reflects our Credit Union's mission and values. This role combines leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for helping members achieve their financial goals.
What You'll Do- Lead the Branch:
Ensure the branch opens smoothly each day and operates safely, securely, and efficiently. - Empower Your Team:
Hire, train, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service and meet performance goals. Foster a positive, collaborative culture. - Drive Sales & Service:
Promote our products and services, lead weekly sales meetings, and implement campaigns to meet cross‑sell targets. - Deliver Member Solutions:
Assist members with accounts, loans, and financial products. Resolve inquiries and provide guidance on policies and services. - Ensure Compliance:
Keep the branch aligned with Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Manage Operations:
Oversee cash handling, transaction balancing, equipment maintenance, and data retention. - Community Engagement:
Represent the Credit Union in local events and organizations to build relationships and attract new members. - Be Hands‑On:
Step in as needed to perform teller, loan officer, or member service duties.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS in Business, Finance, or related field preferred. - Experience:
3‑5 years in branch operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. - Skills:
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Excellent communication – verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
- Sales and business development experience.
- Other:
Ability to travel as needed.
