We're seeking a compassionate and organized Residential Coordinator to provide leadership and oversight for residential homes supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll focus on empowering people to live meaningful, independent lives while ensuring high-quality, person-centered support, while coaching and developing teams, and help individuals thrive in their homes and communities.

We are hiring a Residential Coordinator to lead and support residential teams serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Pay & Schedule- Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Flexibility required, including on-call responsibilities
- Salary: $64,480 – $68,640 per year
- Supervise, coach, and support residential staff
- Create a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Train and mentor new employees
- Contribute to performance evaluations and staff development
- Manage day-to-day operations of the residential program
- Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and staff training
- Lead team meetings and ensure clear communication across staff
- Ensure staff understand and meet the needs of individuals served
- Monitor documentation (incident reports, care plans, timesheets)
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and RI state regulations
- Support household budgeting and maintain quality standards
- Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and team members
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or human services
- 3 years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional
- Knowledge of IDD services and Rhode Island regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive (experience with EMAR, Sandata, or similar systems is a plus)
