Healthcare Program Implementation Project Manager

Join a dynamic team supporting the implementation of a statewide Rural Health Transformation Program. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate multiple healthcare initiatives, working closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure project success within a highly regulated environment. The Project Manager will drive project execution, monitor progress, and facilitate collaboration across agencies, vendors, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of activities across all 13 initiatives within the Rural Health Transformation Program, ensuring alignment with federal and state requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project work plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation trackers in collaboration with initiative leads and project teams.
• Coordinate daily activities among government agencies, subrecipients, contractors, and program partners to support seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, barriers, and dependencies, and communicate issues to leadership for timely resolution.
• Track action items, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables and milestones.
• Facilitate project meetings by preparing agendas, documenting decisions, and tracking follow-up items.
• Support budget monitoring, procurement, and contract management activities related to the program.
• Collect, organize, and prepare data for program reporting, including progress updates, expenditures, and performance metrics.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring key decisions and activities are properly recorded.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and work streams.
• Experience supporting healthcare, public health, or community-based programs in a regulated environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating across teams and organizations.
• Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and tracking tools.
• Familiarity with federal grants management, procurement, contracting, or program reporting is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in government or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of healthcare initiatives, especially in public health or rural health programs.
• Prior experience with enterprise project management or cross-functional team coordination.
