Machine Operator
Machine Operator position is to set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The ability to use computer-controlled equipment to select positions and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.

- Computer Skills
- Strong mathematical skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
- Ability to navigate and operate applicable machines.
- Proven history of high-level measuring experience.
- Accurate input of data into production logs and electronic systems.
- Familiarity with quality control systems/software for recording and analyzing inspection data.
- Understanding and navigating electronic manuals or documentation.
- Work often involves manipulating small parts and operating controls with precision.
- A good level of manual dexterity is essential for handling tools, adjusting machine settings, and placing and removing work pieces.
- Machines may require physical effort to set up, adjust, and operate. Operators may need to lift, position, or secure heavy work pieces, tools, or machine components.
- Work can be repetitive and may involve standing for long periods. Should have the stamina to sustain focus and perform tasks consistently throughout a shift.
Cadence has a career ladder in place for production positions and will determine the level offered based on the qualifications and skill set of the candidate pool and organizational needs.
