Production Associate: Retread Tire Technician - Cranston, RI

About the Role

As a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or in other words, extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road. In our retread plants you will support the retread process through various stages.

• Inspect tires to assess if they can be retread.
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing.
• Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Perform final inspection to assess a safe and quality product.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment, general labor, or entry level jobs preferred.

• Starting pay: $20.00 hourly.
