P.J. Keating Company, a CRH company, is a leading manufacturer of aggregate and HMA products and paving and construction in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We operate aggregate and Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) production facilities in Acushnet, Dracut, and Lunenburg, Massachusetts, as well as Cranston, Rhode Island.

The Quarry Laborer will be responsible for various tasks at the aggregate site.

• Understands and applies safe use and operation of the equipment and communicates with other employees about safety related matters.
• Performs all functions in a safe manner in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Performs plant repair, maintenance and fabrication as directed.
• Inform supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Previous aggregate experience preferred.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Welding experience strongly preferred.

• Display a professional attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Welding and cutting torch experience.
• General knowledge of plant maintenance.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding.
• Valid driver’s license.

• This Positon pays a range of $38-40 an hour
