We are looking for a Brake Press Operator to support our team at our location in Cranston, RI.
Summary:
Operate Press Brakes and monitor parts and machine to assure that the parts are being produced to the specifications described when a set/up person assigned the task, as well as to monitor the function of the machine to be sure it functions as shown.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe all safety rules keeping all body parts out of any pinch points
- Notifying the lead or set/up person of any changes observed while operating the press.
- Inspect parts as shown and alert lead or set/up person if anything changes.
- Keep track of the quantity of parts ran and the length of time on the work order as well as noting any mistakes (scrap).
