Machine Operator Header Cold Press Machines

Overview

This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to learn new skills, work as a team and build a career. We have been in business for over 68 years, a family‑owned company, and are willing to provide training to the right candidates who demonstrate a solid work ethic and a mechanical aptitude.

• Carry out production, inspection, and machine operation duties
• Set up cold press heading machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
• Make mechanical adjustments to machines for proper part configuration
• Effectively monitor production equipment
• Assist the shop technicians and materials clerk as necessary
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers to the thousandth of an inch
• Follow established safety rules and regulations

• Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and work an eight‑hour shift
