SummaryWe are seeking a Machine Operator to operate and maintain heat-treating and thermal processing equipment. This role converts customer orders into heat-treated finished products in line with work orders, quality standards, and production schedules.
Responsibilities- Load, operate, and unload heat-treating furnaces and related equipment per work orders
- Set up, rack, fixture, clean, and degrease parts for processing
- Verify and set program controls, time, and temperature settings
- Monitor utilities (gases, air pressure, oil, water flow) before and during operations
- Perform pre- and post-operational checks and basic preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and take corrective action during equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
, including PPE use - Report any deviations in process, quality, or equipment performance
- Experience operating furnaces or thermal processing equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain documentation
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards
