Registered Nurse – Cranston, RI

Location: Cranston, RI

Shift: Evening, 8 hours (primarily 3 PM‑11 PM; occasional coverage 7‑3 PM)

Hours per week: 20

Employment type: Staff augmentation (non‑union)

Duration: At least 6 months, expected without set end date

Travel required: No

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree

Facilities: Assigned to one of six RIDOC facilities per shift, with rotation and floating between facilities as needed.

Weekend work: Every other weekend required.

• Provide registered nursing care during primary 3 PM‑11 PM shift with occasional 7 AM‑3 PM coverage.
• Complete a 3‑day orientation at 8:30 AM, spanning all RIDOC facilities.
• Work at any RIDOC facility as assigned.
• Rotate and float between facilities in response to staffing needs.
• Maintain night shift coverage and meet weekend scheduling requirements.

• Valid Rhode Island RN license.
• CPR / BLS certification.
• COVID vaccine certification.
• TB test equivalent to 1‑step within the past year.
• Valid resume and all credentials completed before first day.
